Amrita Limbu presented Making it to the Registers research at the British Sociological Association (BSA) Conference, held on 24-25 April 2025, at the University of Manchester.

The theme of the 2025 conference was Social Transformations and Amrita shared her work on the experiences of migrant women doctors navigating UK medical registration to obtain a license to practise. Her presentation was part of the Race, Ethnicity and Migration stream.
